There was no question which track I wanted to call first in the Cave Story remix album. "Living Waterway" is my favourite Cave Story track and I especially love the Wii version. Going in right away, I knew I wanted to intertwine elements of the Wii version with the original and I definitely wanted it to be chill and calming.

This was the first time I've done a PxTone remix album that wasn't Secret Porta. I wanted to take parts of these tracks and rearrange them, add a little to support these melodies but not too much. I enjoyed doing this one, if not to just as a reminder of why I love "Living Waterway" so much. It did take a bit to figure out some parts (I screwed up the basslines at the end of the track at first), so in between working on this, I started the "Access" remix and that actually helped with the remixer's block.
